Christmas is coming…and the dilemma is out there….How much do we get together with family? Maybe, like many of you, you aren’t sure. For us, it looks like we won’t be having a family gathering.
At first I thought, why would I bother decorating when no one is even coming over? But, I decided that if it will give me joy then I should do it. And already it has given me joy. I love seeing the tree decorated, the garland on the fireplace and little decorations here and there.
I am not sure when we’ll see family AGAIN, but I find comfort in seeing my favorite decorations and listening to Christmas music. We just have to be grateful for staying safe and trust that 2021 will be better.
TIP: Gather up a variety of pine branches from outside then stick in a big container by your front entry; Hang a ribbon or wreath from your door. At least the UPS man will enjoy your decorations 🙂
