Today gray is trending in all its many hues. Every catalogue and design website shows you homes with various shades of gray partnered with dark blue, coral, aqua and even yellow.
Why gray?
It’s a perfect neutral and pairs beautifully with lots of other colors and can go from a cool tone to a warm tone.
With some tan tones added it becomes a wonderful partner in the taupe family as well. White kitchens with gray walls adds a distinct clean palette. Gray islands with white cabinets around the perimeter.
White trim and gray walls are the perfect backdrop for adding bold colors like navy or royal blue or splashes of coral. Gray partners well with black and white too in a harmony of distinct and clean tones. Think black and gray tile floor in a bathroom with pale gray walls and white trim. Wood floors are also sporting various tones of gray.
